Questions people ask

What is a rage room?

A rage room (also called a smash room or anger room) is a private space where you wear protective gear and break things on purpose, usually glassware, old electronics and furniture, with a bat, crowbar or sledgehammer. Sessions are booked by the room or by the person and usually last 15 to 60 minutes.

How much does a rage room cost?

Of the 143 venues in this directory that publish a starting price, the lowest is $10, the middle one is $32.99 and the highest is $550. Some price per person and some per room, so each listing says which.

Can kids use a rage room?

It depends on the venue. Among the 123 venues that state a minimum age, 69 accept children aged 10 or under. Most set the minimum between 12 and 18, and many require an adult to sign for anyone under 18.

Do I need to book?

Most venues want you to book ahead, because sessions are timed and the room is yours alone. A few take walk-ins. Each listing says which when the venue states it.

How do you check these listings?

We found each venue through Google Maps, then read its own website for prices, rules and what you can smash. Venues that do not publish details are shown with their basic contact information only. Last checked October 16, 2026.
